Do you really need one?
CoronREHEARSALS???? «I have been asked about wedding rehearsals. I can do them if you require one; they take as long as 2 hours to go thru the steps each a few times. Some are not as long. However, for many new couples it can get expensive as the fee to do the rehearsal is the same price as the wedding fee. ( I drive from Corona de Tucson so it is time AND distance you pay for) I would suggest, and many brides have told me it has worked out great, that the bride retain a friend or family member who has "been there done that" to carry out the routine of the ceremony the day or two before; that way you can each know where you stand, when you come in, and when any music will play. By having someone you know carry out the sequence of the ceremony, it helps you to be calm as you are not so formal. Then when the date comes, you will feel more at ease. If you still do however desire a rehearsal with me, please let me know, so I can set my schedule accordingly. I do not like to set the fee at this amount, but with my time involved that is uncertain and the gas prices the way they are, I must charge this fee.
Also, the music I mentioned in the contract is ONLY the music; I do NOT provide the player. If you use a ceremony that requires special items such as candles, sand or coins, etc. you have to buy those yourself. I do not provide the items- all I give you is the proper ceremony for each type you choose. Be sure you also set a small table where you will be standing if you use a special item such as candles, holders, and lighter, etc. so that it will be easy to access during the ceremony.
You must have at least ONE witness (but you can have up to 2) to sign both the public license and the certificate. That is the law. Also be sure the witnesses know how to sign proficiently and legibly as if they make a mistake on signing the license it will end up costing you extra bucks for the mistake (clerk office will charge this) and it can be as high as $60 depends on county!!!!! You have 2 choices of licenses....a public or confidential I suggest the confidential one as you do not need any witnesses to sign on it and THAT ALONE keeps any mistakes from happening. (marriage must be in same county as applied for if confidential one is bought). If you desire a witnesses to sign, let them sign then the certification as that only needs signatures and keeps mistakes from being made.
Any further questions please do not hesitate to call me. I am more than willing to answer any inquiries. Each county has different regulations and time frames to have the ceremony performed so find out when you purchase your marriage license when it expires. Most expire within 90 days. The confidential license is different than the public license so be sure you apply for the right one. apply in and nThe confidential needs no witnesses while the public one costs less, needs witnesses and can be used in any county within Arizona. Decide which one you need.
